Matt Pletcher - Rutgers University, Hometown: Eastampton NJ, Matt Wrestled and Graduated from Rutgers University last year, He was their starter for several years. As a Senior Matt Pletcher took home the Nist-Sachsel Memorial trophy as the Most Improved Wrestler. He also earned a wildcard bid to the NCAA Championships in the 165-pound weight class. He completed his collegiate career as one of the winningest wrestlers in school history with 77 career victories, ranking him 21st all-time at Rutgers. Pletcher finished with a 33-13 record in his final season, including a 21-3 mark in dual action. He placed fourth at the EIWA Championships. We are excited to have him on board.
