Defending
double leg attack including cradle & half 2 MINUTE VIDEO
CLIP
(Windows Explorer should prompt to open in Windows Media Player,
Real Player..ect) 149: Scott Moore (PSU) WBF over
Tom Rohn (Lehigh)"Quoted from Ken Chertow
email" Rohn came out aggressively with a good high crotch and got to his feet but
did not finish explosively. Moore neck wrenched Rohn and then changed directions
hitting a flying cement job and sending Rohn “flying” to his back. When Rohn
bellied down it was like déjà vu. Scott Moore threw in the legs like his twin
brother had earlier and quickly cranked Rohn over with a power half for a first
period fall.
NOTE:
- When executing a high
crotch and driving to your feet, you must finish across to a double quickly
or execute AN EXPLOSIVE lift. The longer you hesitate, the more opportunity
your opponent has to defend and counter-attack with moves like the flying
cement job and neck wrench.
- When using the cement
mixer setting up one way and throwing the move the other is a great option.
- When working the leg
& half, direct you chest into mat or away from your opponent. Extend you
legs and arch hips in. Dont be afraid to abandon the leg attack to pursue
the fall. Chest to chest on toes.
